I know...I know...I've been totally MIA and I owe you at least 2 race recaps. I'll get to them....promise. (Not that you care, but things have been a little out of control up in this crazy town....and I have 2 classes and student teaching left on my library certificate.)
But, this news is earth shattering. Get ready for it......
I did it. I signed up for the Goofy Challenge at Walt Disney World. I had been toying with the full marathon and then Disney released the medal for the 10th Anniversary Goofy. I am a sucker for an awesome medal.

So, I signed up. I paid an arm and a leg to run a really long way. January 2015 will be my full marathon debut (and probably swan song....one and done) with a little half marathon warm up the day before. It will be fun....ish...it will be fun-ish.
I promise to tell you all about the training adventures if you promise to send me some encouragement along the way!
